About the Practice
A Practice Built on Careful Work and Honest Counsel
Ramkhamhaeng Law was established to provide individuals with straightforward legal assistance on pension matters — work that calls for patience, precision, and an understanding of how Thai pension administration operates in practice.

How the Practice Came to Be
Ramkhamhaeng Law was founded on a straightforward observation: individuals dealing with pension matters in Thailand frequently found themselves without accessible legal assistance. The administrative processes involved in submitting a pension claim or challenging a determination are not always transparent, and the consequences of a poorly prepared submission or an unreviewed determination can be significant.
The practice takes its name from Ramkhamhaeng Road, where the office is situated — a street with historical resonance in Bangkok, associated with learning and the written record. The connection to careful, considered documentation felt fitting for a practice centred on pension legal work.
Since opening, the firm has worked with clients at each stage of the pension process: those preparing their first claim who want a complete and well-structured file, those who have received a determination they do not fully understand, and those whose matters have reached the point where court representation is needed.
The practice operates on the principle that clients should understand their position clearly at every point. Before any work begins, we discuss what is involved, what it is likely to cost, and what can realistically be expected. Those conversations continue as the matter develops.
We do not take on pension matters that we consider unlikely to progress, and we do not encourage litigation where an administrative resolution is the more appropriate path. Our interest is in giving each client a clear picture of where they stand and the practical options available to them.
The office is located at 1247 Ramkhamhaeng Road, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240, and is accessible by both road and the Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link. Consultations can also be arranged by telephone or video call where an in-person meeting is not convenient.
Mission & Values
What Guides Our Work
Clarity
Every client should understand their position, their options, and the costs involved. We do not use legal language to obscure; we use it only where precision requires it.
Proportionality
The approach recommended for each matter should be proportionate to the circumstances. Litigation is not always the answer; neither is inaction. We advise on what fits.
Honesty
We discuss costs and prospects as they actually stand, including when developments are unfavourable. Clients who understand their case can make better decisions.

Our Expertise
Pension Legal Work in the Thai Context
Pension legal matters in Thailand are governed principally by the Social Security Act B.E. 2533 and subsequent amendments, together with regulations issued by the Social Security Office. The procedural aspects of submitting a pension claim, responding to a determination, or commencing administrative or court proceedings require familiarity with both the legislation and the practical operation of the relevant authorities.
Ramkhamhaeng Law focuses its work in this area so that clients benefit from experience built across multiple cases at each stage — documentation, review, and litigation. Our familiarity with the Social Security Office's requirements and the Administrative Court's procedural rules means we can anticipate where difficulties commonly arise and address them before they become problems.
Individuals approaching pension age, those who have recently retired, and those who have received determinations they are uncertain about all face similar challenges: the process is technical, the records can be incomplete, and the available avenues are not always clearly signposted. Our role is to map those options, assist with the necessary preparation, and represent the client's position as effectively as the facts of the case allow.
We work with clients located in Bangkok and across Thailand. For those outside the capital, much of the documentation preparation and review work can be managed by post, email, and video consultation. Court proceedings in Bangkok are handled in person by our team.
